RIM offers a sneak peek at its just-announced professional-grade BlackBerry PlayBook tablet and new BlackBerry Tablet OS.
The PlayBook, revealed at its developer conference in San Francisco yesterday and due out in the new year, "outperforms against (Apple's iPad and Samsung's Galaxy Tab) in several key areas—including having a meatier processor. Where it falls down is—we're guessing—battery life," notes Fast Company in its comparison.
"This is all about RIM locking up the BlackBerry users, and BlackBerry Enterprise Server customers into a BlackBerry tablet before they start thinking about migrating to different tablets," adds ZDnet.
